Help Us By Shooting Video

We are beginning an exciting endeavor – collecting video of great AYSO moments. Borrowing from American’s Funniest Home Videos, we have an “Assignment AYSO”.If you have an HD video camera or can shoot HD video with your smartphone, this Saturday we’d like you to shoot short video clips of great AYSO moments for us to use in a “Welcome to AYSO Region 4” video. The closer you can zoom into the subject the better. Here’s some scene suggestions:

  • Players celebrating
  • Close-ups of coaches talking with kids
  • Post-game tunnels
  • Referees at work
  • Sidelines having fun
  • Close-ups of happy faces

Each scene you shoot is suggested to run approximately 5-15 seconds. Next week we’ll post information here for how to send us your video clips.

Upcoming "Food 4 Fields" Fundraisers

Thank you to all who help make our recent fundraiser with Pick Up Stix a big success. We have similar events in the coming weeks to raise money for equipment for the new soccer fields soon to be built on the east side of the Westlake YMCA. Mark your calendar for “Food 4 Fields” fundraisers with Plata Taqueria on Oct 20th and Oct 27th and a third fundraiser with another locally owned restaurant  (and AYSO family) soon thereafter. The flyer for these will soon be on our website and Facebook page.
