"Everyone Plays" Applies To Volunteers

Have a passion for making a difference in kids' lives? Want to give back to the community? Want to spend more time with your kids?  Consider volunteering for AYSO. We're a 100% volunteer region. No one is paid. Our payment is the priceless moments and memories created spending time with kids and making friends with others who share a passion for improving kids' lives and our communities.

Below are the current open board positions in our region, but opportunities exist to help in any age division or position whether it is on game days or behind the scenes. Shadowing a position or helping for a year before moving into a role is a great way to ramp up and become more comfortable in the position while providing a big hand to current staff. We need your help to maintain and improve the opportunities for kids.

Amazing Award Winning Volunteers

Leslie Cravtitz recognized for 35 years of volunteering

If you want to know what AYSO and Region 4 is all about look no further than our very own Leslie Cravtiz.  At the recent AYSO EXPO in San Diego Leslie was recognized for celebrating her 35th year of volunteering - the only person in Section 10 to receive the award this year. Leslie has taken on many roles for AYSO over the years - as a team parent, assistant coach, and referee.  She is one of a handful of referees in the Area to achieve National Referee status.  Leslie was founding member of the Region's Referee Commission  and has held Region and Area Board positions. Congrats and many thanks Leslie!

Steve Cooper named Area E Volunteer of the Year

Region 4 is proud to have our very own Steve Cooper recognized as Volunteer of the Year in Area E.  Steve's award was presented to him by Area Director Graham Rice at this Spring's AYSO EXPO in San Diego.  Steve fills numerous roles for Region 4 where he volunteers as a Referee (he's a National Referee and National Referee Assessor), Auditor, EXTRA program Commissioner, and Director of Field Operations and Acquisitions.  At the Area level Steve is the Area Referee Administrator.  With so much great volunteering it is easy to see why Steve was recognized.  Congrats and thank you Steve!
