Team banners are optional for all teams. Teams can order custom banners from a variety of sources including the banner companies shown on this page. Most banners will be 3'x5' and companies provide the option to purchase poles & feet. Other banner styles are also acceptable (angular or vertical).
Policy
- For the children's safety never have a child's name and uniform # shown on a banner. (i.e, NOT Katie #9). Stick with only a name or only a uniform number.
- Please be careful with banner placement. Please place at least 10-15 feet back from the field.
Tips
- Getting all required volunteer positions filled and sponsor checks into Division Directors will allow teams to get their requested team names and uniform colors sooner and incorporated into their banner. (Note some names and colors are assigned by Division Directors).
- You can reuse old banner poles from previous years or make your own from PVC pipe.
- Never drive any stakes into the artificial surface at Westlake Community Park (7U and 12U fields)
- Some like to drive rebar stakes into the ground and slide the PVC pipes over the top to help secure banners
- Don't forget to recognize the volunteers by adding Coach first names, Team Parent first names, and/or the name of a team sponsor
