100% Volunteers Providing Fun Soccer For Everyone!

Thank you for your interest in joining AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) Region 4. For more than 45 years we’ve worked to create a fun, safe, family experience for kids and adults in and around the Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Oak Park and Westlake Village communities. Every person involved in the organization is a volunteer and we ask all families to lend a hand in one way or another. Through the hard work of our board and hundreds of volunteers like yourself we proudly are annually recognized with AYSO’s Platinum Award as a top-tier region. We’re excited to have you join all of us who make this one of the largest volunteer organizations in the area.

Thank you for your interest in joining AYSO. Most divisions are full at this time.

If you wish to get on the waitlist from this website you can register for Fall soccer by first creating an account - in the upper right is the Register Now button. From there, either log in to an existing account you have with or create an account. From there enter the details for your registration - it will likely say "No Programs Available" since our registration is past our cutoff date. At that point please either email [email protected] or [email protected] and we'll move the process along.

We also recommend emailing the Division Director to let them know you've signed up to join the waitlist. (they do not get a notice about waitlist additions).
It is hard to estimate how soon we'll know, but players are dropped or added throughout August. If you are volunteering as a coach or especially a referee in 10U-14U you may be moved up the waitlist so be sue to let the Division Director know (see those pages on the tab above for how to register as a volunteer).
The Division Director may wish to gather some additional details from you as we try to create balanced teams.
You can email the using the age and gender code (i.e., 6UB for 6U Boys, so it would be [email protected]).

Finish Your Registration For Fall 2021 And Pay

Prior to June 15, 2021 all players were placed on the waitlist. Now that the State of California is opening up we're happy to announce all players on the waitlist are activated. If you have not begun the registration process skip to "Welcome" section below on the page.

AYSO Region 4 is now requesting payment to complete your child’s Fall soccer registration.

1)    Please login to your account on this website and you will see you have open orders
2)    Click on the "open orders" option and look for the option highlighted to pay for Fall Core 2021
3)    After review, enter in your credit card information and click submit.
4)    You will receive confirmation of successful payment.

Please note that if you have not agreed to all AYSO policies or did not answer all required questions, you will not be able to complete your registration.  If you have questions please email [email protected]

All families will have until June 30 to make their payment and complete registration. Those not registered by June 30 will be on the Fall waitlist where we will do our best to try to place your child on a team. All wishing to volunteer as a coach or referee should please indicate so in their account and select the appropriate division and position and we'll be in touch.

Fall 2021

Like you, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact it has on our community and we hope that you and your families are healthy and safe. We are optimistic about the continued re-opening of our community and continue to monitoring state and local guidelines and prepare for the Fall 2021 season.

Registration for all AYSO Region 4 soccer programs is open on a delayed-payment basis for the 2020-2021 season, by directing all registrations to a wait list. Opening registration in this manner allows us to plan for the fall. If needed, just like last fall, we have the ability to develop custom, creative solutions for playing soccer within Region 4. The waitlist process will also allow families to be assured that their child will have a spot on a team without requiring an up-front payment. Once the fall season can be planned with certainty (likely before July), we will then request payment for all players on the wait list, and they will be assigned to teams.

We are asking that families register for the Fall 2021 season no later than May 30. This will help us understand how many players we will have and how many volunteers we will need to run our programs - and what playing soccer in Region 4 will look like.

We cannot emphasize enough how great the need is for volunteers at every level of organization. We're 100% volunteers - most starting out as parents like yourself. We will continue to welcome your energy and ideas and encourage you to contact a board member or Division Director if you'd like to coach, referee, be a team parent or assist the board with any number of needs we fill before, during and after the season.

  • Fall registration is open; see details and instructions below - please try to register no later than May 30, 2021.
  • All registered players will be placed on a waitlist. The is to defer your payment until we are 100% certain we will have a season.
  • Once we have confirmed a Fall season (estimated by July), you will be notified about when to pay and complete your registration.
  • We can only have as many teams as we have coaches and referees. If you are interested in coaching or refereeing please email your division director (info in right panel of this page). PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER AS A VOLUNTEER UNTIL WE CONFIRM WE WILL HAVE A SEASON. But again, please let us know you are interested when you register.

We often have teams for the EXTRA program within 9U-14U range but currently are in need of a volunteer coordinator and coaches. If your child is interested in trying out for the EXTRA program (details on the EXTRA program page) we hope to have more information by May. We need a parent to help with this program.  So if your child wants to tryout for EXTRA, at this point do NOT register for the 2021 Fall Core Season just yet. We will communicate via emails about any potential tryouts. As soon as we know we can safely hold tryouts, families will be notified via email.

Registration Overview

  • Registration is online only, through a parent account on this site.
  • Player registrations must be completed by the player's legal parent or guardian.
  • You must use electronic signature ("eSign") at the end of the registration form to indicate that you accept all agreements.
  • Complete the checkout process all the way through to completion - including acknowledgement of all waivers. You should receive an automated confirmation email when your registration is complete.
  • For 2021 - No fee is due while we are in wait list status only. If it is determined that a Fall season is feasible, an email will be sent by the registration system letting you know that your player has been activated from the wait list. We ask that you log back into your account at that time and complete payment within 48 hours of receipt of the notification email.
  • Visa/Mastercard accepted. Email the AYSO Region 4 Registrar at [email protected] for instructions to pay by check or to make arrangements to register in person or via mail.
  • Please note we are unable to accommodate player, coach or friend requests in any divisions.
  • A skills evaluation for new players in our 8U-16U divisions MAY be required in order to try to achieve the AYSO Philosophy of Balance Teams. (This is not a tryout, Everyone Plays). Additional information will be communicated at a later date.
  • For 2021 - If the Fall season is determined to be feasible and once payment is completed, you will be asked to print one copy of the completed player form and provide it to the Region or Coach. More information regarding this process will be provided.
  • Tip - The registration engine is now more mobile friendly. Mobile devices and computers should work fine
  • Tip - Google Chrome tends to work better than other browsers when registering.

Keep in mind registering now gets you on the waitlist for a place in the program but registration is not 100% complete until you pay online which we will notify you about - and with more details - later this summer.

Please follow the next steps carefully.  Do not create a new SportsConnect account (this website) if you already have a Blue Sombrero/SportsConnect account!  If you do create a new account, you will not be able to access Participant/Player or Volunteer information from prior year(s) or link back to that information.

In order help fulfill AYSO's Philosophy of Balanced Teams players new to AYSO Region 4 signing up for 8U and older divisions

If you've previously created a User account in Sports Connect, (formerly Blue Sombrero) for a Player and/or Volunteer for any AYSO region, click on Login in the upper right of this website with the same username and password as last year. New players (siblings) or volunteers can be added to this account since one account is used per family.

Thanks for joining us!
Please create only one account per family. One additional person (e.g., another parent or other family member) may be added during the account creation process. Others may be added afterwards. All players in the family should be added to this one account.

To make the player registration process quick and easy, have the following items on hand:

  • Proof of Age (New Players Only) - a clear scan or photo of birth certificate or passport
  • Physician Name & Phone Number
  • Medical Insurance Provider Info
  • Emergency Contact Info

Important: Please enter the parent's name in the "Create New Account" form for Sports Connect, not the player, unless the player is at least 18 years old. Please note that there should be only one account per family, but each account may contain multiple users.

Please make sure that your Participant/Player's first and last name, gender, and date of birth are correct on the Add New Participant web page before you click the Continue button.  Once you click that button, you cannot make any correction; you should contact the Registrar if a mistake was made.
