There is no player "draft" and no tryouts. We strive to create balanced teams.
5U Schoolyard - No specific teams. Parents select their own Groups (20-30 kids, pick the group with your friends if you like). At the weekly sessions players break up into teams each week (usually by gender and abilities).
6U-7U - Division Directors form teams in May-June based on coach assigned player ratings from the previous season, parent responses about player attributes in the registration form, and schools they attend.
8U-19U - Division Directors form teams in May-June based on coach assigned player ratings from the previous season and for all 10U-12U players we add in evaluations from the required evaluation sessions (tentatively scheduled for May 19, June 1 and June 2).
If we have no rating for your player, even if they played in Region 4 last year, we may ask you to attend and evaluation session.
