• Registration is online only, through a parent account on this site.
  
• Player registrations must be completed by the player's legal parent or guardian.
• You must use electronic signature ("eSign") at the end of the registration form to indicate that you accept all agreements.
• Complete the checkout process all the way through to completion - including acknowledgement of all waivers. You should receive an automated confirmation email when your registration is complete.
• Visa/Mastercard accepted. Email the AYSO Region 4 Registrar at [email protected] if you would like to make other payment arrangements.
  

A skills evaluation for ALL players in our 10U-14U divisions will be required in order to try to achieve the AYSO Philosophy of Balance Teams. (This is not a tryout, Everyone Plays). This is for all returning and new players.


WHAT IS THE CORRECT AGE GROUP FOR MY CHILD?
Please click here for details on the age divisions. 
AYSO and all of U.S. Soccer uses birth years to group players. The registration system will provide the correct age division for you to select for your child (assuming you are not signing up for the EPIC program for players with challenges).
We realize it can be confusing. The number corresponds basically to kids under that age (so 10U is 8-9 year olds).

FEES
5U Schoolyard/4U Playground (ages 4 and under) $160 total ($132.25 region fee + $27.75 non-refundable national fee)
6U - 19U $285 total ($257.25 region fee + $27.75 non-refundable national fee) - register by 4/30 and receive a $50 early bird discount
EPIC Program $88 total ($62.25 region fee + $25.75 non-refundable national fee)

SIBLING DISCOUNT
There are registration fee discounts when more than one sibling in the same household registers to play.
1st sibling: $20 discount applied to the the second player
2 siblings: $40 discount applied to the third player
3 siblings: $45 discount applied to the fourth player
2 siblings: $50 discount applied to the fifth player


REQUESTING COACHES OR TEAMMATES
No Special Requests can be considered in 8U-19U - teams are balanced, so we are not able to consider special requests to be on the same team as friends, a particular coach, playing up an age group, etc. Please note we do not permit players to "play down" in a younger division to be with friends.

Please follow the next steps carefully. 
Do not create a new SportsConnect account (this website) if you already have a SportsConnect account!  If you do create a new account, you will not be able to access Participant/Player or Volunteer information from prior year(s) or link back to that information.

Note: Please be sure to select 2024 Fall Core Programs (or "EPIC Program 2024" if registering a player with physical or intellectual challenges).

IF RETURNING TO AYSO
If you've previously created a User account in Sports Connect, (formerly Blue Sombrero) for a Player and/or Volunteer for any AYSO region, click on Login in the upper right of this website with the same username and password as last year. New players (siblings) or volunteers can be added to this account since one account is used per family.

Important for all players in 10U-12U. In order help fulfill AYSO's Philosophy of Balanced Teams all players in 10U-12U should complete a player evaluation in May at Brookside Elementary, Oak Park (held late May and early June). Contact your Division Director for details.


IF NEW TO AYSO
Thanks for joining us! 

Please create only one account per family. One additional person (e.g., another parent or other family member) may be added during the account creation process. Others may be added afterwards. All players in the family should be added to this one account.

To make the player registration process quick and easy, have the following items on hand:

• Proof of Age - a clear scan or photo of birth certificate or passport should be uploaded by clicking Birth Certificate when completing the player registration
• Physician Name & Phone Number
• Medical Insurance Provider Info (company, policy number and holder)
• Emergency Contact Info

Important: Please enter the parent's name in the "Create New Account" form for Sports Connect, not the player, unless the player is at least 18 years old. Please note that there should be only one account per family, but each account may contain multiple users.

Please make sure that your Participant/Player's first and last name, gender, and date of birth are correct on the Add New Participant web page and match the birth certificate before you click the Continue button.  Once you click that button, you cannot make any correction; you should contact the Registrar if a mistake was made.

Click on the "Register Now" button in the upper right corner of the Region 4 home page.


EVALUATIONS FOR NEW PLAYERS
In order to try to create balanced teams we ask new players in 10U-14U to be evaluated. This is not a tryout. Everyone Plays in AYSO!

Important for all players in 10U-12U. In order help fulfill AYSO's Philosophy of Balanced Teams all players in 10U-12U should complete a player evaluation in May at Brookside Elementary, Oak Park (held in late May and early June). Contact your Division Director for details.

Important for new players in 14U. In order help fulfill AYSO's Philosophy of Balanced Teams players new to AYSO Region 4 in 14U should complete a player evaluation in May. Contact your Division Director for details.
